In our last session with Constable Jude she talked to us about how to be safe when travelling in a car. First we sat in the police car to practise putting our seatbelt on. We learned some very important rules about being in a car.
- Keep your arms, legs and head inside the car!
- If you are under 7 years old you must be in a booster seat.
- Always wear a seat belt.
- Use quiet voices in the car so you don't distract the driver.
Later she put the sirens on. They were as loud as . . . .
And we got to dress up as police officers!
